Day1 Tashkent (Arrival) Arrive in Uzbekistan’s capital. Settle in and prepare for your journey ahead.
Day2 Tashkent → Urgench → Khiva Morning flight to Urgench, followed by a transfer to the magical city of Khiva. Explore its walled old town.
Day3 Khiva → Bukhara Travel by train through the desert to the historic city of Bukhara.
Day4 Bukhara Full day of sightseeing in Bukhara, a Silk Road treasure.
Day5 Bukhara → Samarkand High-speed train to Samarkand, Uzbekistan’s most iconic city.

Detailed Itenerary

Arrive in Tashkent, the bustling capital of Uzbekistan. Settle into your hotel and prepare for the adventure ahead.
In the afternoon, begin your exploration of this vibrant city. You’ll visit the Khazret-Imam Complex, home to the oldest Quran in the world.
Explore the Chorsu Bazaar, a lively marketplace filled with traditional crafts like ceramics, jewelry, and textiles.
Enjoy a ride on the Tashkent Metro, known for its beautifully decorated stations.
Stroll through Amir Timur Square, where a massive statue of Tamerlane (Amir Timur) stands proud, and Independence Square, with its poignant memorials.
Visit the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Applied Arts Museum, showcasing Uzbekistan’s finest crafts.
Optional: Enjoy a performance at the Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theater (Approx. $10).

In the morning, your guide will take you on a city tour of Samarkand, visiting:
Gur Emir Mausoleum: The resting place of Tamerlane and his descendants.
Registan Square, one of the most iconic sites on the Silk Road, with three stunning madrasahs: Ulugbek MadrasahSher-Dor Madrasah, and Tilla-Kori Madrasah.
The Siab Bazaar, where you can shop for local produce and try the famous Samarkand bread.
Bibi Khanum Mosque, built by Tamerlane in honor of his wife.
Shakhi-Zinda, a complex of mausoleums with stunning blue domes.
Ulugbek Observatory, the remnants of the 15th-century astronomical observatory.

Free Time in Samarkand: Spend the morning at your leisure, visiting places like the ancient city of Afrasiab or the Khodja Daniyar Mausoleum.
In the afternoon, take the high-speed train back to Tashkent (3 hours).
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening.
Overnight in Tashkent.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. If needed, you will have free time until your departure, and your driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight to JFK or your next destination.
